We are currently seeking Front Desk Managers to join our team!  This position will "Deliver the Wow" through industry leading service, while continuously striving to exceed hospitality industry standards.  Potential candidates must have at least one year front of house supervisory experience in a hotel, resort or cruise line.  More than 40,000 people have already selected Royal Caribbean International to be their employer and so should you!

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Leading a team of individuals who will deliver focused, extraordinary customer service and proactively address guest feedback and provide guest resolution Maintaining a detailed knowledge of guest ratings and comments for owning issues and coaching and mentoring team members Responsible for:  participating in boarding process and documentation review, balancing operational needs between Financial and Guest Services through good communication to optimize guest comments and ratings, training team members and responding to guest concerns in a considerate and professional manner Assists in compiling shoreside reports as needed and meeting forecasted budget expectations Maintains knowledge of ship's regular events and special functions to provide guests with accurate information Through excellence in leadership, also consistently supporting Royal Caribbean International's Gold Anchor standards.

Qualifications

 

Hiring requirements:

Minimum of one year front of house supervisory experience in hotel, cruise line or resort Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exemplary customer service, ability to deal with guests in a patient and diplomatic manner Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D1 visa  (and other relevant visas) when applicable Must be physically able to participate in emergency life saving procedures and drills on board

We are currently seeking Food and Beverage Managers to join our team!  This position will "Deliver the Wow" through industry leading service, while continuously striving to exceed hospitality industry standards.  In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the highest revenue generating department onboard.  Potential candidates must have five to seven years of  progressive F&B management experience in a hotel, resort or cruise line.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing the overall food and beverage functions onboard the vessel

 

Mentoring, developing, and providing on-the- job training to his/her team

 

Reviewing financial transactions and monitoring budgets to ensure efficient operation

 

Implementing Royal Caribbean International's Gold Anchor Standards for the food and beverage function

 

Investigating and resolving food and beverage quality and service complaints in a timely fashion

 

Attending meetings, training activities, courses, and all other work-related activities as required

Qualifications

 

Hiring Requirements:

Five to seven years of progressive food and beverage managerial experience preferably in a 4 or 5 star restaurant or three to five yeas experience in various supervisory and management capacities with the food and beverage division with consistently high performance ratings

 

Ability to manage the financial aspects of a food and beverage operation

 

Knowledge of restaurant and / or food service industry. Ability to use appropriate food and wine terminology and pronunciation

 

Ability to accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off contract schedule for this onboard position

 

Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent, preferred

 

Ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training

 

Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly

Royal Caribbean International is now searching for Executive sous Chefs to be a part of our shipboard culinary operations and oversee its world class team. Travel the world, as you explore exciting adventures daily. The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for managing the activities of a large section of the galley, engaged in preparing and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs served in a variety of dining venues onboard the vessel.This position is a four months onboard contract consisting of two months vacation.This position also includes four months paid vacation per year. Potential candidates must have a minimum of six years proven Culinary management experience in a four or five star hotel, resort or cruise line.

  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Monitoring the assembly of the workstation for the next meal preparation shift, including the cleaning and preparation of food storage areas and refrigerators

 

Enforcing and following USPH and HACCP procedures for sanitation & cleanliness, and monitoring workstations & staff for adherence to those procedures

 

Collaborating with the Executive Chef to plan menu requirements, serving arrangements, guest comments and other related details

 

Providing on-the-job training to strengthen his/her team's current performance, and preparing them for possible advancement

 

Training and monitoring all levels of cooks and chefs for proper skills and service

 

Maintaining food cost at reasonable levels without affecting quality and standards; reviewing and approving the food requisitions from the various workstations

 

Enforcing the storage & disposal of over-production food items according to organizational rules & regulations

 

Demonstrating the proper operation of all equipment to staff according to proper procedures, and testing equipment to ensure accuracy of temperature gauges, heating or cooling elements, etc.

Qualifications

 

Hiring Requirements

Six to eight years experience cooking and preparing food in a 4 or 5 star hotel restaurant or high-volume food service facility

 

Extensive knowledge of food handling procedures with regard to public health standards

 

Completion of high school or basic education equivalent

 

Ability to meet overall established timeframes for the entire food service operation

 

Demonstrated aptitude for the financial aspects of food operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost control

 

All International applicants must have the ability to obtain a C1D Visa

 

Ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training

We are currently searching for Digital Signage and ITV Content Specialists to join our team! This position has a six month onboard contract. Successful candidates will be considered for regular Digital Signage and ITV Content Specialists assignments based on their successful performance. 

Royal Caribbean International currently requires Digital Signage and ITV Content Specialist(s). This position is responsible for all content, usage and designated users of shipwide digital signage system and also for the library and quality of on-demand videos and other media content used on the Interactive TV system.

In addition to other requirements, potential candidates should have a minimum of three years television broadcast & production experience, including graphics creation and operation, video editing, shooting, producing, program scheduling.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Chief administrator & operator of shipwide digital signage system. Schedule & manage content for shipwide digital signs. Maintain library of content for digital signage system. Assign privileges to designated users. Load and monitor on-demand video & media content for ITV system. 

Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements: 

Three or more years television broadcast & production experience, including graphics creation and operation, video editing, shooting, producing, program scheduling. Completion of undergraduate degree in one or more of the following:  media arts, broadcasting, video production or graphics design. Ability to operate Windows and Apple computer systems. Strong skills in graphics programs such as Photoshop, After Affects, Illustrator, etc. Knowledge of computer networking - Local Area Networking Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests. All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D1 visa  (and other relevant visas) when applicable Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.

Royal Caribbean International is currently looking for Cup Cake Supervisor(s). The Cupcake Store Supervisor is responsible for all policies, procedures and activities relating to the smooth and sufficient operation of the Cupcake store. They are responsible for training, ordering and staffing. 

In addition to other requirements, potential candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field and a minimum of three (3) years sales and management-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Direct and coordinate activities involved in operating the Cupcake store. Accountable for meeting and exceeding established sales goals and customer service levels. Direct stock control, inventory, receipt, storing and sales of F&B items. Conducts classes on cupcake decoration and has knowledge of the ingredients & their functions in the production of decorated cupcakes. A hand on knowledge of cupcake decorating is mandatory.

Qualifications

 

         Minimum Requirements

Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management or related field; a minimum of three (3) years sales and management-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and customers. Extensive knowledge of food & beverage handling procedures with regard to public health standards. Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D1 visa  (and other relevant visas) when applicable Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.

Royal Caribbean International currently requires Cruise Staff. The Cruise staff hosts and participates in shipboard recreational, entertainment and social programs geared towards adults and families.

In addition to other requirements, potential candidates should have minimum two years master of ceremonies or professional entertainment (theatre, music, dance, comedy, etc.) experience with resorts, cruise lines, entertainment or recreational industries. 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Maintains continual interaction with the guests. Hosts and participates in adult and family recreational programs and activities. Socializes with guests in public areas at all times in accordance with Royal Caribbean International's Gold Anchor Standards. Visits guest lounges at specified times to converse with as many guests as possible in the time allotted. Attends Captain's Cocktail Party and Welcome Back Party to provide introductions, collect invitations, socialize and coordinate the flow of the reception line. Participates in shows and events presented by the Cruise Director's Division by taking part in skits, and/ or simple dance routines. Instructs, organizes or facilitates various activities and/or tournaments.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements: 

Two years master of ceremonies or professional entertainment (theatre, music, dance, comedy, etc.) experience with resorts, cruise lines, entertainment or recreational industries required. Ability to capture and manage the attention of a large group of people with microphone effective and courteous microphone techniques. Experience on a microphone required. Ability to provide basic instruction to a large group of people.  Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required. Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software basic packages. Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests. All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D1 visa  (and other relevant visas) when applicable Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.
