We are currently searching for an Executive Chef to join our team. This position will deliver a high-class culinary experience to our guests in line with the warmth and luxury our guests will experience.  Potential candidates must have at least five years of related experience in an upscale hotel, resort or cruise line.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  

Administering the entire galley department, generating and revising all required reports Ensuring that food quality and portion control are always in line with company's specifications Spot Checking food requisitions for the various cooking stations Performing random food tasting to ensure quality standards are met Ensuring the food preparation is done according to the Recipe Book and USPH guidelines Setting up and maintaining a training program for all galley staff Conducting daily tours of provision area ensuring that correct storing procedures are met Maintaining the cleanliness of all food preparation areas and conducting simulated USPH inspections Directing, coaching, supporting, supervising and evaluating the performance of direct reports

We are currently searching for Assistant Chief Housekeepers to join the team.  This exciting position works closely with the chief housekeeper in order to efficiently maintain this important onboard area.  Potential candidates must have at least two years of housekeeping managerial experience in a four or five star hotel, resort or cruise line.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  

Directs, coaches, supports, supervises and evaluates alongside the Chief Housekeeper the performance  of all direct reports, while mentoring, developing training and providing on-the-job assistance Manages guest inquiries which require attention, interacts with guests regularly and visits staterooms Reviews financial transactions to ensure expenditures are within budget limitations, manages audit findings, and constantly reviews current operating procedures for revenue-enhancement opportunities

We are currently seeking an Associate Hotel Director to join our team.  This position assists the hotel director in the daily operations of the ship, strategic planning, forecasting, crew management and welfare, and overall guest satisfaction. The Associate Hotel Director should have the ability to manage the hotel operation in its entirety, as, occasionally, he/she may be asked to act as Hotel Director. Maintains highest level of guest satisfaction by overseeing the delivery of quality guest services and amenities, as well as addressing guests' complaints and resolving issues effectively Works closely with various departments and management including Hotel department and Technical team for maintenance issues and  random weekly room inspections, as well as the inventory manager and financial controller to ensure cost controls Manages day to day financial transactions and ensuring accuracy prior to reviews by hotel director Responsible for attending meetings in accordance with Hotel department needs, including Workplace Safety to represent hotel in all safety issues, investigations and concerns Oversees the tendering operations in all tender ports of call, as well as regular walks on the ship to ensure Celebrity's STAR service philosophy is followed, and crew areas and dining are meeting or exceeding standards

We are currently searching for Audio- Visual Operators - Light to join our team. This position sets, strikes, operates, or otherwise works with relative Audio-Visual (A/V) or Stage equipment as instructed by the corporate office and the Audio-Visual Manager in accordance with the specific disciplines assigned. The Audio-Visual Technician is responsible for the use/operation, movement, and storage of all audio-visual equipment for performances by entertainers.

In addition to other requirements, potential candidates must have at least one year of experience in an audio-visual function in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment or recreational industry (shipboard experience preferred) along with other requirements.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Moves, sets, operates, strikes, and stores all audio-visual equipment, such as lighting, sound, scenery, props, etc., throughout the ship on a day-to-day basis. Acts as audio-visual troubleshooter to help solve any equipment or stage problems as delegated by the A/V Manager. Designs or implements the design of lighting, sound, and stage effects for Featured Entertainers as assigned.

We are currently searching for Audio- Visual Operators - Sound to join our team. The AVTS is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ships entertainment sound and audio systems. The AVTS is charged with programming and designing events as well as maintaining the original sound designs that Celebrity Cruises has purchased. The AVTS position is an extension of the AV team and is expected to assist the daily ship operations of the entertainment team.

In addition to other requirements, potential candidates must have at least three years of experience in an audio-visual function in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment or recreational industry (shipboard experience preferred) along with other requirements.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Required to maintain all entertainment audio equipment, show control, and play back equipment on board the vessel. Required to maintain the integrity of the prescribed sound designs of the Celebrity Cruises produced events.  Required to implement an original or prescribed design, program and to operate audio for additional events and guest artists. Responsible for daily operational checks on all audio equipment. Is responsible to adhere to the company's policies and procedures on maintenance and use of all audio equipment. Is responsible for maintaining brand quality in all aspects of audio design and operation. Responsible for the smooth operation of all events in the theater and ship wide as prescribed by the Cruise Director, Production Manager, and AV Manager.

We are currently searching for Audio/Visual Managers to join our team. This position manages all Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment and personnel. The Audio/Visual Manager is responsible for the usage and operational maintenance of all audio/visual equipment, and the general operations of this equipment for performances by entertainers, as well as all programmed activities by the entertainment staff.  

In addition to other requirements, potential candidates must have at least  two years experience as an Audio-Visual Manager in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment or recreational industry (shipboard experience preferred).  

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

Directs, coaches, supports, supervises and evaluates (in conjunction with the Production Manager), the job performance of the Audio-Visual operators.

 

Provides technical management for shows and activities.

 

Supervises and coordinates all striking of poolside equipment.

 

Conducts weekly meetings with the Audio-Visual Team.

 

Supervises and coordinates the Audio-Visual Team's daily schedules.

 

Acts as audio-visual troubleshooter to help solve any equipment or stage problems and informs the appropriate onboard Engineering personnel.

 

Reports any equipment in need of repair or replacement to the Production Manager, Cruise Director, Hotel Director, Onboard Engineering Personnel and other members of the ship's management as appropriate.

 

Designs or oversees the design of lighting, sound, and stage effects for Featured Entertainers.

 

This position is responsible for cost containment through the proper use, handling and maintenance of records, reports, supplies and equipment.

 

Mentors, develops and provides on-the-job training to his/her staff to strengthen their current performance and preparation for future advancement.

We are currently searching for a Broadcast Operator / Assistant to join our team.  This exciting poistion assists the Broadcast Manager in providing television and "radio" programming. Onboard television and radio broadcasts consist of a mix of pre-recorded and/or live material. Sources of broadcast material include satellite programming, terrestrial broadcasts, pre-recorded content, and live content. Live content can be from a satellite feed or from a lecture or show taking place onboard the ship.

The  candidate should have minimum of one year experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment or recreational industry (shipboard experience preferred).

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Assists the Broadcast Manager in the formulation of television and radio broadcast schedule/s Assists the Broadcast Manager in carrying out the television and radio broadcast schedules paying attention to start times and broadcast quality Assists the Broadcast Manager in creating programming where necessary. This means shooting and editing various lectures, activities, or shows for playback at later times, or shooting and mixing them for live broadcast Assists the Broadcast Manager with monitoring of the PA system around the ship paying attention to clarity, volume, and coverage Assists the Broadcast Manager in overseeing the video-related requirements and related setups for activities that may take place in various lounges around the ship

We are currently searching for Chief Housekeepers to join the team.   This position is instrumental in the housekeeping department, as this person will direct the overall function of the department.  Potential employees must have at least 5 years of related management experience in a four or five star resort, hotel or cruise line.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  

Overseeing the assignment of duties, responsibilities and workstations to your staff Observing and evaluating staff and work procedures Approving personnel actions to ensure proper staffing Reviewing outside audit findings and performing regular self-audits Investigating and resolving housekeeping quality and service complaints  Reviewing financial transactions and managing staff to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations  Constantly reviewing current operating procedures for revenue-enhancement opportunities  Mentoring, developing and providing on-the-job training to subordinates to strengthen their current performance and preparation for future advancement
